PURPOSE: The purpose of the Advisory Council is to inform others about the Foundation and encourage community interest and support. The Council shall serve as an essential link between the Foundation and the community. Members of the Council, through their personal and business associations, are in the position to encourage others to support the Foundation’s programs and to provide community information and representation to the Foundation.

Appointment to the Council:
Members of the Council are elected by the Board of Directors.

DUTIES OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL

• Attendance at the Annual TCSF meeting.
• Awareness of the TCSF’s mission and goals.
• Ambassadors for the Foundation by informing others of the Foundation’s mission and goals in providing quality education in a Christian environment.
• Basic knowledge of the way the Foundation operates; the types of funds the Foundation encourages and the Foundation’s procedures used for basic grants.
• Make referrals to the Foundation concerning potential donors.
• Service on TCSF committees as requested.
